Tom Flood, assistant men’s basketball coach at KeukaCollege for the past three years, has been named head coach.

 Flood, former boy’s hoop coach at Honeoye Falls-Lima (HF-L) Central School, will also coach Keuka’s golf team. 

He replaces George Wunder, who stepped down after guiding the Storm hoops squad to a 77-93 mark the past seven seasons. Wunder coached the golf team for the last three years.

“We are excited to have someone with Tom's experience and expertise available to step in and take over our men's basketball and golf programs,” said Athletic Director Dave Sweet. “As the assistant basketball coach the past few years he is familiar with our returning student-athletes and brings valuable contacts from the high schools in our area.”

 Flood said “working with Coach Wunder and the players has been a terrific experience. This is a great opportunity and I look forward to being a head coach on the Division III level.”

Flood directed the boys basketball program at HF-L from 1977-2002.  He was named Section V Coach of the Year five times and guided the Cougars to a Section V title in 1997.

Flood served as athletic director at HF-L from 1985-2002, and coached baseball and soccer from 1977-1987.

Flood earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Findley University (Ohio) in 1970 and a master's in education administration from St. Bonaventure University in 1978.
