Employees honored for service, dedication at Community Day
Nineteen faculty and staff members were recognized for their service and dedication to Keuka College at Community Day Jan. 29.

Five-year service awards were presented to: David Buchanan, executive chef; Tanya Cornell-Kestler, staff writer/designer; Jerry Hiller, vice president for finance and administration; Andrew Beigel, associate professor of education; Sandra Miller, program support coordinator; and Billy Jo Jayne, assistant director of campaign operations.
Ten-year services award were presented to Patricia Strong, student accounts representative, and Monica Maddox, senior admissions counselor for nursing enrollment.
A 15-year service award was presented to Phyllis Bailey, housekeeping staff.
A 20-year service award was presented to Sherry Fox, accounts payable representative.
Merit awards were presented to: Peter Bekisz, webmaster; Thomas Bennett, technical support specialist; Jaime Burke, head coach, softball and women’s soccer; Marie Markham, housekeeping staff; Rodney Stanton, security officer; and Gerald Thompson, assistant director of admissions counseling.
Presidential Awards for Sustained Outstanding Achievement were presented to Jeff Bray, assistant director of athletics and head athletic trainer; Mary Ellen Griffiths, director of student accounts; and Carol Lillis, director of the Academic Success at Keuka program.
