Honor Quintet

First members of business and management honor society inducted

Five seniors pursing business and management degrees became the first inductees in the College’s Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society during an Oct. 23 ceremony.

The Keuka College chapter of Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society was established in May. Associate Professor of Management Ann Tuttle is president of the chapter.

Inducted were Sean Barker, a dual accounting and management major from Horseheads; Kristi Chamberlain, a management major from Oriskany Falls; Jeremey Hourihan, a management major from Keuka Park and Elmira; Jennifer Shaughnessy, a management major from LeRoy; and Bethany Urban, an accounting major from Baldwinsville.

Candidates for the honor society must hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and be in the upper 20 percent of their class. They also need to have completed at least one-half of the degree program in which they are enrolled.
