Pop Group Skinny to Perform Oct. 27
The acoustic pop group Skinny will perform at Keuka College Saturday, Oct. 27.
The performance begins at 10 p.m. in the Davis Hall lounge.
The group, formerly known as Two Skinny Dorks, now has five members: Jake Blazer (vocals), Eric Penrod (guitar), Matt Corey (saxophone), Eric Daniels (bass), and Joel Lugo (drums).
Formed in 1999, the band has opened for the Dave Matthews Band, Blessid Union of Souls, The Roots, O.A.R, George Clinton and the PFunk Allstars, Average White Band, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
The group has received play on college and national radio stations, and has performed on regional and national television. Skinny was ranked the No. 1 unsigned band by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
