Anne Weed Named VPAA

Former professor of English and chair of Fine Arts and Humanities
Keuka College Professor of English Anne Weed has been named vice president for academic affairs.

Weed, a resident of Shortsville and graduate of
Weed has chaired the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts since 2006 and serves on the Curriculum Committee and First-Year Experience Committee. She has chaired a number of key faculty governance and search committees, and has served on numerous ad hoc faculty and campus-wide committees. Additionally, she was involved in the Middle States Association reaccreditation process from 1999-2001.
Weed has published numerous articles in professional publications and delivered presentations as part of the National Endowment for the Humanities Public Library Lecture Series, at the Mid-Atlantic Popular/American Culture Association Conference, and Annual Central New York Conference on Language and Literature.
