Three new members were elected to the Keuka College Board of Trustees at its recent spring meeting.
Anne Pemberton, a 1964 Keuka graduate and Robert Taisey, a New York City attorney, were elected to two-year terms while Katharine Wilhelm, a 1967 Keuka graduate, was elected to a three-year term.
Pemberton, who resides in Acton, Mass., worked for the Food and Drug Administration; Hood College in Frederick, Md.; Middlesex Community College in Beford, Mass.; and Reuben Hoar Library in Littleton, Mass. She is active in St. John Lutheran Church in Sudbury, Mass., and various genealogical organizations in New England.
This will be Taisey’s (New York) third term on the Board; he served from 1989 to 1998 and again from 1999 to 2008. An attorney with Holland & Knight LLP, he has served on numerous boards and foundations, including Jephson Educational Trusts and the American Bar Foundation.
Wilhelm (Carmel, Ind.) served as alumni trustee the past three years and was elected trustee-at-large. A member of the Alumni Association Executive Council, she has devoted much of her time and talent to the Girl Scouts, both professionally and as a volunteer, and is active in her church and literacy programs
Re-elected to three-year terms were Barbara Allardice (Penn Yan), Susan Bolman (Stamford, CT.), A. Paul Bradley Jr. (Lake George), Rev. Elizabeth Bueschel (Wilmette, Il.), Nancy Feinstein (Hammondsport), Joseph Indelicato (HoneoyeFalls), Peter Parts (Williamson), Aqua Porter (Rochester), and Daniel Tessoni (Pittsford).
Melissa Brown (Flourtown, Pa.) and Marilyn Baader (Cayuga) were elected vice chair and secretary, respectively.
Kathie Keller (Snyder), a 1978 Keuka graduate, was elected emerita trustee. Treasurer of Keller Technology Corp. (Buffalo, North Carolina, Mexico), she served on the Board from 1988 to 1997 and again from 1999 to 2008.
Keuka’s governing board also recognized student Reed Confer (Dalton, Pa.), Lynn Lannon (San Francisco, Calif.), Mary Ann Moschner (Lake Forest, Ill.), and Audrey Wolcott (Penn Yan), who completed their current terms as trustees.
