Be a volunteer for Celebrate Service… Celebrate Yates

It only takes a few hours to make a big difference in Yates County during Celebrate Service… Celebrate Yates.

The 12^th annual day of volunteer community service is happening this Sunday, April 19, and walk-ins are welcome.

The event will kick off with registration and lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Dahlstrom Student Center. Volunteers receive their site assignments during registration. There are 26 sites where volunteers will help with a variety of projects or jobs. Transportation will be provided to the sites and will depart shortly after 1 p.m. Volunteers will remain on site until 4:30 p.m.

Sponsoring the event are Esperanza Mansion, Finger Lakes Health, Fitzpatrick Brothers, Graphic Connections, Keuka College’s Student Senate, Knapp & Schlappi Lumber, K-Ventures, Sodexo Food Service, Stork Insurance, Yates County ARC, and the Yates County Chamber of Commerce.
