Numbers in line with 2007; women represent 74% of freshman class
Freshman, transfer and total enrollment held steady this fall at
Freshman enrollment totaled 270 this semester while 68 students transferred to Keuka from other colleges. Total enrollment stands at 1,613.
The number of full-time students increased 8.5 percent from a year ago.
Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Carolanne Marquis is "impressed by the caliber of the incoming students.
"It's a terrific group; they match up well with our many strengths, particularly the emphasis we place on experiential, hands-on learning."
Enrollment in the Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP) "will increase 9 percent based on students currently enrolled and those enrolling later this fall," according to Gary Smith, associate vice president, Center for Professional Studies and International Programs."

Women make up 74 percent of the freshman class and 70 percent of the transfers.
In terms of majors, the most popular choice among freshmen and transfers was unified childhood/special education, followed by occupational science, exploratory, management, unified early childhood education, and biology.
