ASAP instructor honored for work as trainer
Kathleen Howard, an instructor in the Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP), recently received a CNY BEST Annual Workplace Learning and Performance Award in the individual trainer category.
The award ceremony was held in
Leadership Greater Syracuse Executive Director Sherry Mossotti (left) and John Burns, ASAP instructor and president of the Center New York chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, presents the 2008 CNY BEST trophy in the Individual Trainer Category to winner and fellow ASAP instructor Kathleen Howard.
A distinguished panel of judges from the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and
Contest judges also noted that comments from Howard’s students demonstrated a deep concern for the learners, their circumstances, and personal styles of learning.
