Students involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters celebrate their 'littles'
Keuka College students involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program recently held an end-of-the-year celebration for their ‘littles.’

College President Joseph G. Burke and Jeff Newland, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester, were on hand to award certificates to each participant.

“One of the reasons Keuka continues to participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program is that the ‘bigs’ and the ‘littles’ learn from each other, which I think is important for both the Keuka student and their ‘little,’” said Burke.

Keuka students serving as ‘bigs’ this year include Laura Williams, a junior management major from Odessa; Tara Whitney, a senior social work major from Keuka Park; Kaitlyn Wannall, a senior social work major from Groton; Naomi Torres, a sophomore unified early childhood/special education major from Stockton; Chris Russell, a junior adolescent social studies education major from Youngstown; Sarah Reukauf, a senior social work major from Keuka Park; Aubrey Orloff, a junior criminology/criminal justice and psychology major from Adams Center; Thomas Hunter Morgan, a junior management major from Leicester; Nicole Musicant, a senior social work major from Clayton, N.C.; Nicole Mazurowski, a sophomore adolescent American Sign Language/special education major from Walden; Wes Ion, a sophomore American Sign Language-English interpreting major from Lima; Joe Hanley, a junior occupational science major from Webster; Jessica Hays, a freshman unified childhood/special education major from Canandaigua; Shannon Furlong, a senior unified childhood/special education major from Syracuse; Jessica Germond, a junior American Sign Language major from Granville; Maya Falkner-Guidice, a sophomore marketing major from Syracuse; Stephanie Doyle, a senior social work major from Sidney; Brittany Bridenbacher, a sophomore criminology/criminal justice major from Tully; and Jackie Baker, a sophomore social work major from South Williamsport, Pa.
